My current camera setup:

Camera setup I’d buy if I didn’t  already have the one I do now...

Best camera for those with $500-1000 budget 

  • Canon G7x Mark II ($600) - No external audio jack 
  • Sony ZV1 - Has External Jack but cant change lenses (Get This if you can over G7x)
  • Sony a6300 - Can be found on Facebook marketplace for very reasonable price this has external audio jack and can use sigma lens 
  • Sony A6400 - a great camera with flip out screen (only thing I don’t like is no internal image stabilization)

Microphone options: 

Editing Softwares I recommend:

  • Screenflow - My current editing software and one I believe is easiest and simplest to learn and get good with.
  • Camtasia - Same as screenflow but made for windows baaed computers 
  • Davinci Resolve - I am currently watching tutorials and at some point will make the switch to using this.
